To the Promised Place

Episode starts off with an attack from Arnie. Arnie’s left and right combination attacks have seriously hurt Miyata and have taken him to the ground. With the little pride Miyata has left he is able to pick himself and continue the match.

How much longer will Miyata beable to take the punishment from Arnie? With Miyata’s counter crippled hes going to have to use
every shred of power he has left in his body to finish this fight.

The match continues with Miyata trying to make the first move, unfortunately for him his legs buckle. Arnie see’s this oppertunity
and resumes his attack. Not one to give up so easily Miyata fights back as often as he can while blocking Arnie’s punches. 10 seconds are left

in the round and Arnie is looking to finish it. A right straight by Arnie knocks Ichiro Miyata’s head backwards and begins to fall. The referee see’s Miyata’s will to fight and counts Miyata’s down as a slip. With that decision Miyata is able to continue the fight into the 3rd Round.

The bell sounds and it’s the beginning of round 3, only both fighters remain still in the center of the ring eyeing one another. Miyata is the first one to advance and starts off with a sharp and fast One – Two Combination attack, which arnie is able to calmly block. Miyata continues to press forward and pressure Arnie.    Feeling the intense pressure of Miyata’s fighting spirit Arnie the Crocodile has to act quickly or
be over run by Miyata’s desire to win. The two fighters begin a dangerous exchange of punches in the center of the ring. Miyata gives Arnie a right, which Arnie returns the favour and gives him a Right of his own. Miyata’s barrage of punches pushes Arnie against the rope. Observing the way Miyata is throwing his punches Arnie is able to find his exposed torso. Arnie is able to connect with a HUGE right which brakes a rib or two of Miyata’s. Arnie move in and delivers a RIGHT, LEFT, and RIGHT. As Miyata is about to fall he catches himself from falling and returns a powerless punch shocking the entire arena. At this point we find out that the thing holding Miyata up is his promise to Ippo to once again face him in the ring. One to not brake a promise, he will try to do everything in his power to face him and not let Ippo surpass him once again. Arnie widens his stance and prepares to deliver a huge left punch. Fortunate for Miyata the gong sounds and signals the end of round 3.

The fourth round begins. Arnie is no longer looking to defind the OPBF championship belt, he wants to take on the world. No longer thinking like a champion, and now thinking like a contender for the world he steps up and begins his attack. While some of his attacks connect, Miyata is able to return a few. Not feeling and power behind Miyata’s punches Arnie seems to be unfased by his opponents punches. Arnie’s reckless
attack pushes Miyata against the ropes. With nowhere for Miyata to run Arnie connects with a LIVER BLOW. As Miyata is falling to the ground Arnie connects with another Right downward at his sinking jaw. What looks to be the decisive finishing blow against Miyata only Invigorates him. Not using every single drop of energy left in his body Miyata see’s an opening in Arnie’s attack and goes for it. Miyata starts to counter Arnie’s punch…… Arnie Blocks his counter with what looks to be another BLOODY CROSS. Only this time Miyata uses that last drop of energy and pushes himself forward and pushes with his entire body. THE COUNTER CONNECTS, ONLY WITH THE POWER OF HIS ENTIRE BODY BEHIND IT.

Yeah you got it right, the episode finishes with Arnie hitting the canvas. Was Miyata’s final punch more then enough to knock the reigning OPBF Champion out cold? We’ll just have to find out in Episode 4.
